An Instagram dream, this stylish cafe in north Hackney is pretty in pastel candy-colours and also has some killer coffee (they use the Dark Arts Coffee beans!)

Their brunch menu is also absolutely smashing, and is an ideal spot for a bite to eat and a coffee in London.

5. The New Black

A high-end coffee concept that focuses on serious coffee connoisseurs, there’s iPads with interactive ‘Tastewheels’, tech-y coffee equipment and artisan roasts.

7. J&A Café

Still a little secret (or at least it feels like it!), J&A is a charming courtyard cafe that has hearty, wholesome homemade food and warming coffees.
