The 7 Most Instagrammable Spots In Japan

Japan is a fantastic country with imperial palaces, mountainous national parks and thousands of shrines and temples. Plus, it’s home to the futuristic city of Tokyo.

One of the most exciting places in the world to visit, you will eat incredible sushi, ride the bullet trains and soak in bubbling hot springs.

You’ll want to get a great Japan Instagram photo while you’re here, so make sure to check out these seven best places.

1. Suwa Takashima Castle

This beautiful castle is also known as The Floating Castle of Suwa”. It was built in 1592 directly onto Lake Suwa, with the lake itself forming part of its moats.

The landscaped gardens are one of the highlights, but make sure to go in the morning for the best light for photography.

3. Mount Fuji

Mount Fuji is one of Japan’s three sacred mountains and at 3776 meters is Japan’s highest mountain. Visibility up top can be poor in the summer months, so visit in winter for the best chance of getting a view of Tokyo.

Famous for being the busiest crossing in the world, the ‘Shibuya Scramble’ in Tokyo is one of the craziest sights you’ll see while in Japan.
