The 7 Most Instagrammable Spots In Palau

Palau is an archipelago of over 500 islands, part of the Micronesia region in the western Pacific Ocean.

This tropical oasis has a diverse environment and an ancient island culture, plus some of the world’s best dive spots. Want insanely good photos from your trip here? These are our top places to get a Palau Instagram snap.

1. Palau Milky Way

The Milky Way lagoon is a natural mud bath in brilliant blue waters, within the Rock Islands.

Dig down into the waters and rub the chalky mud all over yourself. The therapeutic limestone mud will make your skin silky soft!

The museum has a wood-and-thatch bai (men’s meeting house) with beautiful artwork of local folk legends.

5. Babeldaob

A charming island that you can reach in a day trip from Koror, Badeldaob is somewhat secretive and oh-so peaceful.

There’s not many tourist activities on the island, so you’ve no excuse to do anything but relax. You can also hike through the lush jungle to waterfalls.
