This is where you’ll get the most spectacular cocktails in the city. You’ll always have your head turned by some dry ice or potion-style masterpiece being whisked to a table near you.

3.  The Jekyll And Hyde

Who doesn’t love a big German drinking hall with long benches and a great selection of beers in huge steins? They’ve pulled the traditional German vibes off here perfectly, without it feeling tacky.

5. Post Office Vaults

They serve over 100 beers here, from Belgium, Germany, France, Norway, Holland, Austria and the USA to name but a few. They also have 13 different ciders.

In fact, the Post Office Vaults are so confident in what they do that they say “if we don’t serve it you are welcome to bring your own”.

6. The Old Crown

If a pub has been around since 1368 then you can be fairly confident they know what they’re doing – this is worth a special trip to visit. The Old Crown acts as a landmark in the Digbeth community and is one of the most iconic pubs in England.

7. Inn On The Green

This pub has won the Birmingham pub of the year for three years in a row, in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and is a wonderful place for a couple of beers. We’re giving them a special mention for their huge range of craft beers, which change every week.
