1. What’s so special about Cadbury World?

Basically, it’s a magical chocolate wonderland for children and adults alike. Explore how their chocolate is made from scratch, watch a 4D chocolate adventure and relive some of the best Cadbury advertising memories from over the decades.

2. How do I get there?

By Car: It’s about 20 minutes drive from Birmingham city centre. There are a number of motorways that then feed into the M5 – you’ll see signs from there to Bournville.

By train: It’s a 15 minute leisurely stroll from nearby Bournville Station.

By plane.: Birmingham International Airport is the closest. You can then transfer to train or a taxi will take 20-30 minutes.

4. How long will it take?

The main exhibition tour lasts around 90 minutes, as you are brought on a chocolate journey that start in the Aztec Jungle.

Most visitors tend to spend between 3-4 hours on the site, as there’s lots of other things to explore – including the world’s biggest Cadbury shop and a Cadbury cafe with chocolately treats.

5. When is the best time to go?

Cadbury World’s opening hours change on a regular basis, based on the UK summer and school holidays. A good guideline is the following…

  • Monday – Friday – 10am – 3pm
  • Saturday – Sunday – 9.30am – 4pm
