Nice collection!
But – in my opinion – its quite a shame that you missed LA CABRA in Aarhus, Denmark and same for TÖRNQVIST in Hamburg, Germany. Especially Törnqvist, the new era of coffee shop founds its base in here!

Good list of wonderful places for coffee. Pity you felt the need to mention Brexit in the introduction. Norway is not in the EU, by the way. But I’ve no doubt No. 14 deserves its place in your list. Europe is more than the institutions of the EU and great coffee is to be found throughout the continent.

The best coffee in the Netherlands – and beyond – is in Deventer at Koffie bij Roemer.

After moving from North America’s Pacific Northwest to the Netherlands, I spent a couple of years trying to find delicious beans only to be chronically disappointed. On a day trip to Deventer found this funky, little coffee roaster on the Walstraat. To my surprise, his coffee was wonderful.

What a pity you don’t include it on your list – particularly when you can see from the photos of some winners that the coffee looks weak and flavorless.

I missed some places on this list like The Attic in York, England; Harvest Coffee Brewers in Rotterdam, Netherlands; People on Caffeine and GOTA Coffee Experts in Vienna, Austria. I would also like to mention two very good places in charming little towns: Native in Haarlem, Netherlands, and Mocha in Miltenberg, Germany.
