2. Stonington Borough

Connecticut’s oldest village is a seaside stretch of charming shops, restaurants, classic New England architecture and harbour views.

3. Thoreau Bridge at Hidden Valley Preserve

This swinging bridge is inscribed with quotes from the beloved author, Henry David Thoreau. Simply beautiful.

4. Lobster Landing, Clinton

Home to the best lobster roll in the state – no argument there. As well as tasty food, it’s also a super scenic Connecticut Instagram spot.

5. Small State Big Heart Mural

6. Buttonwood Farm

Each year they plant over 14 acres of sunflowers and harvest approximately 300,000 blooms, with profits from all bouquets sold going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut. If you’re going there to take professional photos, there’s a site fee of $25 per half hour session.
