It’s not news that Australia is absolutely full of some of the tastiest, juiciest and most mouthwatering burgers in the world, but what is news is that the official Top 50 best burgers in the whole country have been announced.

Big 7 Travel has been trawling through Oz and picked the 50 very best burgers you can get Down Under. All you have to do now is work your own way through them…

The judging criteria:

  • Finalists were selected from across Australia
  • Votes were cast in poll of Big 7 readers, across our 1.5million community on social media and by a panel of food experts
  • Online reviews, previous media coverage and notable blogs were also included in the overall rating
  • The final list is subjective – if we’ve missed out on any must-try burger places across Australia, please do let us know

50th. Trunk Bar – Melbourne

Rather disappointed that alfreds kitchen didnt make it into the top 50 considering they make some of the best burgers in perth, everyone in perth knows Alfreds kitchen. And also Hoodburger in perth should’ve been up there also they make some great burgers, they may only have a small menu but the flavour is there and there chips are amazing.
