The 50 Most Instagrammable Places In Europe 2019

Big 7 Travel’s final results of the Most Instagrammable European places for 2019 are based on a combined score of Instagram data, travel expert’s votes and reader opinions.

  • Analysed Instagram hashtags for each European country, as well as its main cities
  • Online survey of Big 7 Media’s social audience of 1.5 million
  • Votes cast by a panel of travel experts
  • The weighting was broken down as HASHTAG: 30% JUDGE: 30% SURVEY: 30%, VISUAL OVERVIEW 10%

The judging panel scored on the following criteria: abundance of Instagrammable spots, originality, natural Instagrammable spots, man-made Instagrammable spots and food and drink Instagrammable spots.

A mixture of cities, entire countries and districts make up the list. If you feel we’ve missed any destinations, please do get involved in the comments.cot

50th. Valencia, Spain – 74.11%

Soak up the wonderful architecture and revolutionary history of the city of Valencia as you stroll down grand streets and marvel at Baroque churches. With a thriving food scene as well as a cultural complex of arts and sciences, Valencia stands out.

49th. Milan, Italy – 74.27%

With a mixture of fashion, football and great food – as well as stunning architecture – this is a dream destination for tourists. Cities are rarely as iconic as the northern Italian city of Milan.
