One of the oldest and most traditional pizzerias in the city, there is a reason they have been around for so long: they keep things simple and create world class pizzas. You smell the wood-fired oven as soon as you walk in the door, so you’ll be licking your lips as you see the huge pizzas wizzing past you as you wait for yours.
The main idea of Frankie’s pizza is to promote artisan producers from Italy and Spain who distill, age, cure, macerate, rest, ferment and manufacture raw ingredients into the best possible end product. True foodie champions. Their pizzas are superbly fresh and when combined with one of their lovely craft beers a super treat.
“Buon Appetito” literally means “enjoy your meal”, which we guarantee you will at this cosy spot. The restaurant pays homage to the most traditional and authentic Italian cuisine. From wonderful pastas and grilled meats to risotto and rich desserts they have it all. To come and not try one of the best pizzas in Barcelona though would be a huge shame. Delicious.
