Best burgers in Newcastle Upon Tyne

1. Meat Stack

Now with two locations in the city, Meat Stack’s freshly ground salt-aged beef is what makes them so delicious. They also make all their own relishes and sauces which bring the burgers to life. Once you’ve had one of these you may never be able to look at other burgers in the same way again.

2. George’s Great British Kitchen

This is where you’ll find British food with a unique twist, sweet shop inspired cocktails, delicious desserts and premium gins. The menu has tons of British classics that might catch your eye but trust us and order the burger which comes with perfect, thick cut fries.

3. Red’s True Barbecue

They call themselves “the church of true barbecue” and it’s hard to argue with that statement. Expect lots of slow cooked meats and sharing style platters, while the flame grilled burgers are bursting with flavour and they keep the toppings simple with bacon and cheese. An absolute killer burger.

4. Lola Jeans

A super fun place to spend time in Newcastle, Lola Jeans’ serves signature artisan cocktails, only the best food and the opportunity to dance late into the night. The burger specials are always changing and packed full of flavour.
