From caves to mineral springs, New Mexico has awe-inspiring landscapes and ancestral ruins. Albuquerque is the largest city in the state and has some beautiful spots. In a nutshell, Albuquerque Instagram is lit.

Old Town’s narrow streets and century-old adobe houses are home to New Mexican eateries serving enchiladas and sopaipilla pastries. As pretty a place as you could possibly imagine.

3. Sandia Peak Tramway

This tram just outside the city has some of the most spectacular views on the way up or way down. You don’t have to be interested in skiing to experience it, although that is a bonus. Hop on for skyline and mountain views!

4. Hotel Andaluz

This boutique hotel in Downtown Albuquerque has unique artwork from around the world and Spanish-inspired design. Head to its Rooftop Lounge for views of the Sandia Mountains and downtown.

For nine days in October the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta creates an enchanted world of special shape balloon rodeos, twilight balloon glows, and vibrant balloon-filled skies.
