New Floating Hotel In Sweden

See The Northern Lights From This New Floating Hotel In Sweden

There’s a brand new floating hotel in Sweden and it’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Arctic Bath is the latest launch from the team behind the world famous Treehotel.

The beautiful new floating hotel and spa freezes into the ice in the winter, and floats on top of the Lule river in the summer. The main building is inspired by a jam of floating timber in the river, and has a circular shape with an open cold bath.

The unique floating hotel in Sweden is open for bookings from early 2020

The Arctic Bath will have one spa treatment room, four saunas, an outside cold bath and a hot bath. There’s also a bar (of course) and stylish restaurant.

The open centre of the bath is perfect for sunbathing, ice bathing and looking up at the Northern Lights or starry skies, with the plunge pool itself being kept at a refreshing four-degrees.

Stay in one of six floating cabins or six cabins on land

These incredible rooms will also float, or freeze into the ice, depending on the season. Bonus: 11 of the cabins are pet friendly, so you can bring your pooch with you. The rooms have outdoor terraces, providing the perfect spot for watching the Northern Lights.

The hotel is now open for bookings, with rooms starting at $845 USD a night.
