A survey by Nestpick ranked cities across the world on how gay communities felt about their city. Did they feel safe?

For a city to rank strongly as an LGBTQ place, they said that it must have a vibrant gay dating scene and a lively alternative nightlife. It also needs open minded citizens, and low levels of hate crime. They also looked at the national laws affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. In a nutshell, this means the right to get married or adopt children.
