3. Polignano a Mare

Polignano is famous for its seaside setting, charming vibes and ancient watchtowers. The Red Bull cliff diving competition is held here, with divers from around the world showcasing their skills.

4. Alberobello

This small town in Puglia is famous for its trulli houses – small houses with conical roofs. The streets are narrow and hilly, houses are white and the stone roofs make for a unique photo. The town is a UNESCO site, and we can see why.

5. Grotta della Poesia

The ‘Cave of Poetry’ is a 100 foot wide sinkhole in the small town of Roca. Dive into  the clear waters below from the 15 foot cliffs, or rent a boat from nearby San Foca to explore the hidden grottoes.

6. Oria

This pretty town on sloping hill in the northern Salento area of Puglia is a peak into laidback Italian life. Whitewashed houses are covered in mosaic tiles and lush flowers, while cobblestone streets date back to the Medieval times.

7. Grotta di Sella

This rocky cave bridge in Polignano a Mare is an essential photograph when in Puglia. Come at sunset for some unforgettable views of the coastline.
