There’s some truly great American diner-style burgers, named after iconic American personalities: the Sophia Loren has mozzarella cheese and Parma ham. This charming family restaurant serves up some of the tastiest gourmet burgers in and around Leuven. There’s more than 20 burgers to choose from on the menu, all made with prime Charolais beef and local farm ingredients. Our top picks? For a truly gourmet burger, this is the place to go. Jilles does artisan burgers, and has even brewed their own beer to match them perfectly. While the menu has plenty of choice, you can’t miss out on the Hot Gillian: this explosive spicy beef burger has melted cheddar cheese, red onion, pickle, lettuce, tomato and homemade spicy dressing.

This is a little taste of New York-style burgers with a Brussels twist: grass-fed Irish Angus beef, a tasty bun & fresh Belgian potatoes.
