Their pitmasters have developed custom rubs and sauces they use on the meat they smoke over wood for up to 12 hours. Smoky, saucy and full of rich flavours, there’s something special about the BBQ here that you’re sure to love.
Smoked low and slow over real smoke, the BBQ here lives up to its name. They specialise in smokin’ bones and, well, the meat on top of it of course. Relax into the trendy atmosphere as you listen to classic rock and graze your way through dish after dish of the best BBQ in Dublin. They source local ingredients whenever possible, so everything tastes extra fresh, especially the ribs and pulled pork.
In the mood for a little something from Down Under? Aussies sure know how to fire up the grill, too. And, it’s evident after the first bite of literally anything at Aussie Tucker. If you’re in the mood for great grilled meat fresh off the barbecue, this is the spot for you. From grilled meat skewers straight through to the slow-cooked baby back ribs that they douse in a fantastic BBQ sauce, everything here is so mouthwateringly delicious.
At Duck, they’re, as they put it, “passionate about bringing the authentic flavours of Hong Kong-style roasted meats to Dublin.” So, if you’ve never tried Hong Kong-style BBQ then this is your chance. Meats are pretty succulent and cooked in a traditional bullet oven to give them a unique texture and flavour. Definitely sample the crispy pork belly or BBQ pork. It’s out of this world.
A Texas wood-fired smoker takes centre stage at Fowl Play, easily one of the best spots for BBQ in Dublin. Using wild cherry wood to smoke the meats, they infuse everything they make here with a unqiue flavour that’s a little sweeter and milder than when using other types of wood. They serve both Louisiana Hot and Alabama White BBQ chicken wings. And, they’ve even got smoked turkey sausage. Try it all. You won’t regret it.
