This is a dish that elevates a simple classic to a whole new level. In fact, we’re gonna go all out and say that this is the tastiest cheesy garlic bread you’ll ever taste. With delicious crispy pieces of Serrano ham and melted mozzarella, you will be savouring every mouthful.

You’ll find that this is an ideal appetiser or something that you could serve alongside meat or pasta dishes. However you choose to serve it, you will be blown away by the simplicity and the flavour.
Cheesy Garlic Bread: Ingredients
- Serrano ham
Soften the butter and add it to the chopped garlic and parsley. Be generous with both!
Slice up the Serrano ham and add it to the mixture. It’s essential that the butter is fully softened and the mixture fully combined.
Make slices into a baguette that go about 3/4 of the way to the bottom. You can use a day old baguette for this if needed – it will crisp up in the oven anyway, so it doesn’t have to be totally fresh.
Smear the mixture into all the cracks in the bread, pushing it down as far as you can.
Place the bread into tinfoil and wrap it up tight. Pop it into the oven at 200C/400F for about 10-15 minutes until it starts to get crisp.
While the bread cooks, strain all the liquid from the mozzarella and slice it up.
Remove the baguette from the oven and carefully slide a slice of mozzarella into each crack of the baguette. Pop it back into the oven for 2 minutes, until the cheese is melting and oozing out of the cracks.
