This is truly a unique glamping experience located near a restored 19th-century ghost town with a mineral hot springs. This five-star property sits against the stunning backdrop of the San Juan Mountain Range. The River Camping ground is located just four miles from Dunton Hot Springs. For a luxury stay, this place ticks all the boxes.

Eight lavish safari-style tents all have a gas stove, a luxurious bed and furnishings, a bathroom with a full soaking tub, and a private lounging terrace. Guests also have access to the historic structures at the hot springs which include a spa, a well-stocked library, and a saloon (original Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid).

2. Collective Vail- Wolcott

These fully-furnished, heated yurts are perfect for any time of the year. Private and removed from the general area, with separate bathhouses, the yurts offer breathtaking views and only a short stroll to the pools.

The hot springs are the main attraction here. The water is a sodium bicarbonate type with significant levels of boron, calcium, lithium, and magnesium along with several other beneficial minerals. These have been known to increase metabolism, accelerate healing, soothe muscles, improve blood circulation and detoxify the body’s lymphatic system!

7. Arapaho Valley Ranch

Situated on a stunning 200-acre family-owned guest ranch located in Colorado’s beautiful Grand County. Surrounded by the Arapaho National Forest, your days will be filled with amazing hiking trails, waterfalls, and a visit to the historic steam engines from the old town of Monarch.
