This Is The Happiest State In The US 2020

A new study has revealed the happiest state in the United States in 2020. It’s been a tough year for all. So if you’re looking for a change of scenery – it’s worth finding out which are the happiest, and least happy states in the US.

The study used “happiness” research to determine which environmental factors are linked to a person’s overall well-being and satisfaction with life. Good economic, emotional, physical, and social health are all key to a well-balanced and fulfilled life, according to previous studies.

So which is the happiest state in the US in 2020?

Hawaii! That’s right. According to the survey, the Aloha State is the happiest state in all of America in 2020. Based on three key dimensions – emotional and physical well-being, work environment, and community environment. Wallethub referenced sources such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Feeding America, and the US Census Bureau.

Metrics used, such as Covid-19 testing rates and restrictions, overall safety, physical and mental health, and life expectancy were graded on a 100-point scale. More metrics included annual income, unemployment rates, ideal weather, career, and social well-being, suicide rates, and job satisfaction. Hawaii ended up with a 69.58.

Aside from all of the above. It’s easy to see why Hawaii is the happiest state in 2020. The land of the bluest water, beautiful beaches, mountainscapes, and nature. The friendliest people, freshest fruit, vegetables, and seafood possible. Not to mention glorious sunshine.

Speaking from experience. As someone who was stranded there during a tropical storm, I felt true relief and gratitude for a few extra days. It’s one of the most perfect places on planet earth… *plans permanent move to Hawaii*.
