2. Peppina

Their pizzas are so authentic and stick to the principles of Neapolitan cooking so well that you could easily be sitting in Naples when eating here.

It’s all about the dough which they prove for over a day in advance, which results in that perfect springy and spongey crust. Absolute world class perfection.

3. Il Bolognese

A wonderful gem of an Italian trattoria where they have their own wood-burning oven at the centre of the restaurant.

There’s lots of great Italian classics on the menu, but you’d be foolish to look beyond the pizza. Traditional in style with great imported ingredients, this is the real deal.

These pizzas all look terrible! None are browned at all on top signaling that they are wet and goopy, with soggy crust.

Hi Daniel! Most of these places are Neapolitan-style, so they have the signature ‘soupy’ middle and doughy crusts 🙂 it’s a different style of pizza to NY-style, but we think it’s delicious
