A neighbourhood Irish bar turned restaurant in 1987, Blarney Stone offers consistently food alongside friendly service. The Blarney burger has become a star on its own, with a super juicy half-pound beef patty cooked to your liking on a fresh kaiser roll. A modern take on the American burger joint, Swillburger is part of Playhouse, where you’ll also find a craft bar and vintage games arcade. They source their tender beef from local farms, keeping the menu simple. A focus on soft, fresh buns, juicy beef and classic toppings (their ‘Dad’s Pickles’ are great!) makes this a winner.

The Evergreen serves up a tempting variety of different delicious small plates, sandwiches, burgers and salads. There’s lots of great burgers to chow down on, so it’s tough to pick just one. Their Beet & Grain burger is a real highlight though, with a pitcher of beer to make it a complete meal.

This charming sandwich store has all sorts of divine things to eat on the menu, with a range of sandwiches on super fresh and soft bread. A real highlight is the Jalepeno Burger: a 10oz. Angus hamburger topped with melted hot pepper cheese, cajun jalapeno onion straw, lettuce, tomato, & cajun mayo on a grilled cheddar cheese jalapeno bread.

What’s not to love about Beer Belly Deli & Pub? All their meats (the burger is a 50/50 chuck and brisket blend) are marinated, braised and seasoned on site, they focus on fresh and local ingredients and their pillowy soft burgers buns are baked daily. Burger toppings is also where they shine, with candied bacon and deep fried mozzarella galore.

Practically a synonym for “delicious burgers” in Albany, Crave offers a mouth watering variety of burgers including the Crave Burger and their famous Black and Blue burger. Or, really pig out with the French Onion: a Provolone stuffed beef patty, brioche bun toasted with provolone and American cheese, short ribs, caramelized onions, served with French onion soup for dipping.
