The hotel is in the popular Calgary East Village, in the north east of the city, on the Bow River and close to Saint Patrick’s Island Park. Whilst this is a particularly scenic, synergic to nature part of the city, it’s also packed with hipster bars, cafes and restaurants as well as a happening music scene and indie bars.
A few minutes around the corner is Fort Calgary Historic Park, adjacent to the river and overlooking St Patrick’s Island. The hiking tracks pass right in front of the hotel and cross over the river into the park making some of the most beautiful city based walk-ways in Canada.
