The Blackstone Hotel

The Blackstone Hotel overview

Known as the “Hotel of Presidents,” The Blackstone Hotel was once the tallest building in Chicago. It no longer is, but it’s still impressive, with 23 stories of Classic Revival Beaux-Arts architecture. The hotel has had a luxury launch into the 21st-century and is now a landmark hotel in the city. There’s a nod to the hotel’s history, with an old fashioned typewriter in the lobby that guests can use and a barber’s chair from the time of Al Capone.

Rooms have scenic views of Lake Michigan and Grant Park, marble bath facilities and customized La Bottega amenities. Swanky. For dining, you can enjoy mouth-watering modern Catalan dishes in Mercat a la Planxa.
