With just two terminals, the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport is easy to navigate. Terminal A operates domestic and international flights at gates numbered 1-7, 7a and 8-16. Terminal B operates domestic flights and international departures at gates numbered 17-36.

Best Dining Options at San Jose Airport – When You are in a Hurry

Starbucks and Peet’s Coffee & Tea

Across both terminals, you’ll find good old, reliable Starbucks and Peet’s Tea and Coffee. Queues move quickly and you can grab a snack with your handcrafted espresso beverages, freshly made coffee and teas.

Einstein Bros. Bagels

If you have an early morning flight, you’ll be happy to know that Einstein Bros. Bagels is open from 5am. Order to go or eat in and fill up on gourmet bagels baked fresh in-store every day. On the menu, you’ll also find delicious egg sandwiches, signature lunch sandwiches, piping hot coffee, cookies, muffins, juices and smoothies.

For pre-made, grab and go snacks, sandwiches and drinks, Fresh Attractions has a good selection of options. You can also buy fresh fruit and nuts as well as ice-cream bars.

Frozen yoghurt your way! You pick the flavours and toppings to create your perfect froyo mix. Menchie’s is self-service and the cashiers are friendly and efficient. You can sit-in or take away.

Quench your thirst at Beer Union which sells regional brews in a rustic setting reminiscent of an outdoor beer garden. If you have time, pop in for breakfast or chow down on casual bar food like BBQ pork sliders, flatbreads, salads and bbq platters.

Sip Savvy

Relax over small plates and cool beverages at Sip Savvy, which has a full bar. Order fresh juices, organic liquors and spirits and bottled beers to go with foods like flatbreads, salads and bar snacks.

Sharks Cage

Looking to catch a game? Sharks Cage is a sports bar that pays homage to the San Jose Sharks. There are lots of TVs, plenty of seats and a standard pub grub menu.

A faux-British Pub and sports bar in one. The Brit is the place to head for comforting bar food and a taste of the UK, think fish and chips and shepherd’s pie. The Brit Hangover Burger is very tasty, whether you are hungover or not.

Head to Smashburger for smashed, seasoned and seared burgers and shakes made with Häagen-Dazs ice cream. If there is no queue, service should be quick enough but this place can get busy so we recommend heading here only if you have a good bit of time before your flight.

Sushi Boat

For light and flavoursome Japanese-inspired food, Sushi Boat serves fresh sushi, udon, teriyaki, donburi, tempura, sake and beer. Portions here are decent and prices are reasonable. Plenty of grab-and-go options too.

Flames Eatery

Another restaurant serving decent burgers and fries and other diner-style menu items like salads and grilled cheese sandwiches. Grab a seat at the bar and watch the TVs or grab a table and wait for your flight.
