Best Steaks in Fort WorthHow do these rankings work?

1. Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse

Nestled among Sundance Square restaurants, the warm mahogany-lined walls give the restaurant a warm and welcoming feel. The long bar that dominates the room is where they serve up some of the best cocktails and wine in the city.

As you ease into your seat the gorgeous white linen is perfectly starched and the waiting staff there to answer all your questions. Sitting here with good friends and a fillet steak is just about as enjoyable as life can get.

2. H3 Ranch

This cosy bar setting serves up everything from wings to whole cooked suckling pigs and is known for it’s great food. That all starts with the sourcing of the produce and the steaks are second-to-none.

The T-bone served in a classic style with a baked potato and washed down with a couple of their house drinks is a wonderful treat. You’ll never go wrong with a meal at H3 Ranch.

3. Mercury Chophouse

Mercury Chophouse is a locally owned steakhouse that is classic in style, with amazing service in a pristine dining room.

They have a large selection of steaks including New York strip, bone-in rib eye and filet mignon. Served traditionally, the portions are big and the sides perfectly balanced. When it comes to eating steak in Fort Worth it quite simply doesn’t get much better than this.

4. Lonesome Dove

Lonesome Dove first opened in 2000 and have been serving up local food to happy regulars for close to two decades now. The food is influenced by cultures of the West with a large selection of innovative steaks. It is, however, the steak that reigns supreme.

The Wagyu tomahawk or the fillet are the cuts we would suggest here. Both are cooked exactly to your liking; your face will light up with a huge smile when you taste that first mouthful.

5. Silver Fox Steakhouse

With three venues in the area, you can’t go wrong with a feast here. Silver Fox Steakhouse features USDA Prime steaks, fresh fish and cold water lobster. The best bet when eating here is to try a bit of them all, with a seafood appetiser and then the surf and turf to follow.

The dining room is formal, but with a relaxed and buzzing atmosphere. Add in a good bottle of red with the steak and you will be in heaven.
