Superfood High-Protein Smoothie With Soy Milk

Sometimes, getting lots of good quality food into you after a work out is hard, which is why this superfood high protein smoothie recipe is ideal. It packs in lots of goodness and protein with the nuts, plus it will fill you up for a couple of hours.

This is the latest in our series of recipes and drinks that are quick and easy to make and which will drastically improve your life.

If you really wanted to up the protein levels in this, a spoon of whey powder would be great added in this drink. You can also make it in advance and just store it in the blender. Simply blitz the drink when you need it.

Superfood High Protein Smoothie: Ingredients

  • Spinach
  • Banana
  • Peanut butter
  • Cashew nuts
  • Soy milk

Add the spinach, cashew nuts and peanut butter to the blender.

Top it up with the soy milk and the chopped banana. Add more banana to thicken, or more soy milk to thin it out as you prefer.

Blitz the juice until the spinach has totally blended and the juice is a wonderfully vibrant shade of green.

Serve with a couple of extra cashew nuts on the side to chew on if you are extra hungry. Seriously delicious.
