49th. The Standard – Hobart, Tasmania
It’s all about the quality of the ingredients here, with their beef patties and fried chicken made from scratch, while they bake the buns fresh every morning. Droolworthy stuff.

Cape Grim 100% grass fed beef is the real star of the show here. The Burger Project also has a focus on doing outside catering, so their burgers really could show up anywhere in the city – and that’s a very good thing.
29th. Chuck Wagon- Adelaide
To say that the portions here are big would be the understatement of the year. Chuck Wagon is the place to come and have any sort of cheat meal you fancy to really treat yourself. Managing to get the whole burger into your mouth would be a good start.
28th. Grand Trailer Park Tavern – Melbourne
This epic spot is an east-coast-inspired burger-and-bar diner serving up Melbourne’s tastiest burgers alongside signature spiked shakes, cocktails and desserts. Expect incredibly juicy meat and ounces of oozing cheese.
27th. Meet & Bun – Perth
You never leave here an unhappy person. They always deliver top end burgers using the freshest of ingredients, without the crazy price tags some places charge. Food doesn’t get much better than this.
26th. Burgastronomy – Hype Park, South Australia

Royal Stacks have three locations where you can pick up these monster burgers that are outrageously big. You couldn’t pack in more flavour if you tried – the sides are seriously epic too.
12th. 127 Days – Adelaide
127 Days is a simple restaurant with a basic layout, but it’s when the food comes out that the real magic starts to happen. The egg and beetroot burger is an absolute must here.
11th. Gary’s Diner – Perth
They only do one type of burger here, but Oh Boy do they do it well. You can choose between a single or a double and they come cooked to perfection. The curly fries on the side are also a delight.
