7 Best Antigua and Barbuda Instagram

The 7 Most Instagrammable Spots In Antigua and Barbuda

The paradise country of Antigua and Barbuda is made up of the two namesake islands and several smaller ones in, lying between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

You’ll find lush rainforests, white sandy beaches and luxury resorts. The majority of the main attractions are on the island of Antigua, which is where the capital city, St. John’s is. Barbuda island is also worth a visit for its peaceful beaches.

You’ve gotta capture that tropical paradise on camera, so here’s the best places to get an Antigua and Barbuda Instagram photo.

1. Shirley Heights

Shirley Heights is a restored military lookout that has the best view of all Antigua. Best time to go? At sunset and early evening when all of English Harbour is all lit up.

From 4pm until 10pm every Sunday, local bands play Caribbean music here and people come for drinks and a bbq.

2. Mount Obama

A 1,319-ft. forest-covered island hill & national park was renamed after former US president Obama in 2009.

Although the peak is off limits to the public, there’s nice jungle trails to trek and the green rainforest scenery will look great in an Antigua and Barbuda Instagram snap.
