7 best cities to visit in the UK for nightlife

1. Blackpool, England

If you like to feel the sand between your toes as you party the night away, head to Blackpool. Blackpool is one of our favourite places for the best beach nightlife. This seaside resort in Lancashire, in Northern England, is one of the best places in the country for a boozy beach party. Its relatively cheap alcohol prices and an impressive selection of late-night venues make it a popular party destination, especially with students and stag and hen groups. For its size, Blackpool really is a big hitter when it comes to nightlife. To make the most of the beach, spend the night bar hopping along The Promenade.

2. London, England

If you like high-end clubs, legendary live music venues and atmospheric pubs, London is the place to be. As you can probably tell, there is something here for everyone, for all budgets. SoHo is one of the best places in London for nightlife, especially ridiculously fun cabaret clubs. Camden is another great nightlife area, home to rock and indie bars and iconic music venues. Meanwhile, Mayfair is the opposite, with its fancy cocktail lounges and hotel bars. Some of our favourite nightclubs are Fabric in Farringdon, Heaven near Charing Cross station, and Ministery of Sound in southeast London.
