What’s so special about this hotel?

Built in 1746, Taj Lake Palace is made entirely of marble and features majestic architecture. The beautiful marble palace was the winter palace of Maharana Jagat Singh II of the royal dynasty of Mewar.

Not only that, it’s also been the site for several iconic film shoots like the James Bond film, Octopussy. 

Grand courtyards have peacocks strolling around, and every room comes with butler service

All rooms have breathtaking views of the neighbouring City Palace, Aravalli Hills, Machla Magra Hills and Jag Mandir.

The food here is just as incredible, with the hotel’s fine-dining restaurants serving traditional Royal Indian cuisine.

Each of these individually themed suites feature high ceilings, deeply-carved mouldings, ornate glasswork, and miniature paintings. Oh, and marble bathrooms and a jacuzzi.
