Fully Loaded Coconut Protein Shake

If you are working out hard then this coconut protein shake is an essential drink to help you rebuild those muscles. Normally, protein whey shakes can be a bit bland and boring but this drink has wonderful flavours and lots of extra goodness. It also happens to be utterly delicious!

This is the latest in our series of recipes and drinks that are quick and easy to make and which will drastically improve your life.

If you want to get ahead of yourself, there is no harm prepping the drink in advance and storing it in the blender jug in the fridge. When you finish the work out, simply give it a quick blitz in the blender.

Coconut Protein Shake: Ingredients

  • Spinach
  • Coconut water
  • Whey protein powder
  • Egg
  • Banana

Wash the spinach and add it to the blender with the bananas.

Add in the whey powder. This can be whatever your favourite brand or flavour is, but we would suggest that vanilla will work best with this recipe.

Crack the egg into the blender.

Blitz the drink for about 30 seconds in the blender until it is super smooth. It will tend to froth up a little, so let it settle before topping up the glass.

Serve the coconut protein shake immediately and feel those muscles rebuilding by the second!
