2. Cueva De Los Verdes

Known in English as “The Green Caves”, this mystic location was formed as a result of the volcanic activity of the Corona Volcano. You can visit them during the day between 10am-5pm but they also even hold concerts and specials events in here on occasion, so keep an eye out for those.

5. Timanfaya National Park

At just over 50 square kilometres this national park is mostly made up of volcanic soil and looks like you have just landed on Mars. A truly rugged and wild backdrop for your Lanzarote Instagram picture.

6. Jameos del Agua – The Turquoise Pool

This is the climax of the experience that local architect César Manrique created out of 6km of collapsed volcanic rocks and caves. The pool is easily one of the most vibrant  blues that you will ever come across and perfect Instagram material.

7. Famara Beach

You’ll find this beach on the west side of the island about a 30km drive from the airport. It is best known for its great surfing and the dramatic cliffs which stretch up over 650m high.
