2. Mountain Treehouse – Monte Verde, Brazil

If you want to spend a few nights in the heart of nature, this mountain treehouse is perfect. It’s wonderfully rustic, so don’t expect luxury, although it does have all the modern comforts you may need, including Wifi and a TV.

The host notes that they only speak Portuguese at this home, so be sure to have Google translate downloaded before you arrive! The treehouse sleeps 3 guests and costs $117 per night.

3. Rainforest Tree House with Hot Springs – Cooper, Costa Rica

This tree House is in the Bio Thermales natural resort (part of a 35 acre rainforest!) Guests enjoy free 24 hour access to the 12 natural hot and cool springs pools of various temperatures and rainforest trails. The small and large cool springs pools both have water slides.

The treehouse itself has a wraparound balcony for bird watching and cute rustic furniture. It’s perfect for animal lovers! The hosts note that the treehouse might ‘shake’ a little in strong winds, but that’s all part of the fun, right?
