1. Fornalutx

You’ll find this village within the Serra de Tramuntana mountains; they have branded themselves as “the prettiest village in Spain” and it’s hard to disagree. Some of the cycling and walking trails around the village offer the most stunning views and best photo opportunities.

2. Main Square – Sóller

You could cross the whole of Europe and struggle to find a prettier little square. Sit on the terrace at one of the cafes and enjoy a coffee or beer while waiting for the gorgeous yellow trams to come right past your feet for that ideal Mallorca Instagram shot.

3. The Lighthouse at Formentor

This lighthouse is still active and stands beautifully perched on the rock face at 210m, keeping the passing ships safe. Walk out along the paths and grab a beautiful photo with the lighthouse in the background.

4. Es Calo des Moro Beach

Mallorca is well known for its sandy beaches and hundreds of small inlets where you can bathe in crystal clear blue water. You’ll find this beach on the southern part of the island and be simply blown away by its natural beauty.

5. Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca

Locals know this more commonly by its shorter name of “La Seu”. The Gothic cathedral has a stunning facade which stretches up to 44m at its highest point. It was finished in 1601 and you’ll find it in the old city of Palma.

6. Deià

The small cute streets here look as if they were created straight out of an oil painting. After wandering around, taking in the relaxed beauty of the place, you’ll find ample little restaurants and cafes to sit and people watch in this idyllic coastal village.
