The 7 Most Instagrammable Spots In Vanuatu

Vanuatu (formerly called the New Hebrides) is a South Pacific Ocean nation made up of roughly 80 islands.

The islands have something for everyone – scuba diving at coral reefs and wrecks such as the WWII-era troopship SS President Coolidge as well as local villages with ethnic food and waterfalls.

We’ve picked the prettiest places among the islands for you to get a Vanuatu Instagram photo you’ll never forget.

1. Mount Yasur

Mount Yasur is an active volcano on Tanna Island that’s a continuous hotspot of bright red lava.

Unlike many other active volcanoes around the world, this one is easy to hike to the top and get a great shot of all that magma.
