Best Bars in NassauHow do these rankings work?
1. Tiki Bikini Hut
If you want to truly immerse yourself in local Bahamian culture, then kick off your sandals and pull up a chair at the Tiki Bikini Hut.
This little bar is popular amongst both travellers and locals, probably due to the fact that you can get a free Bahama Mama sample if you ask. They also offer great deals on daiquiris and shots. Prepare to truly relax here.
2. Twisted Lime
Twisted Lime Sports Bar & Grill is one of the best bars in Nassau due to the stunning views you can catch from their wrap-around porch, and the super long happy hours they offer.
Because the bar is right on the water’s edge, you can catch super stunning sunsets pretty much every day of the week. You can also enjoy four-hour long happy hours and Twisted Margarita Tuesdays.
3. The Green Parrot Bar
Serving up some of the best views of the Nassau harbour, the Green Parrot is one of the island’s best restaurants. They serve great, authentic Caribbean food, but they’re also well-known for the strong drinks and great vibes.
This is a great weekend hangout spot, and their drink menu is pretty extensive. Order a few cocktails with your dinner and watch the sunset over the water.
4. The Daiquiri Shack
Despite its small size, locals and travellers consistently rank The Daiquiri Shack as one of the best bars in Nassau.
What looks like a small little beach hut is actually a popular Caribbean daiquiri spot that locals have grown to love. They use fresh fruit for their daiquiris, which makes them taste oh-so-sweet and tangy.
We think this is the best place to go in Nassau if the day is especially hot and you’re spending it at the beach. Order a daiquiri here and cool down before heading out for a swim.
5. Mahogany House
The Island House is one of the simplest yet most elegant places where you can get coffee, food, and drinks on the island. This elegant simplicity extends to Mahogany House, the on-site bar and restaurant.
If you can, make sure you request to sit outside on their covered porch. The decor is intimate and romantic and you’ll be right next to the lush greenery that makes it feel as if you’re dining in the jungle.
6. Compass Point
The bar at the Compass Point Beach Resort is one of the most relaxing bars in Nassau. You’ll be able to enjoy the smooth sounds of local reggae music, the soft lapping of the nearby waves, and the super-strong flavours of their delicious cocktails.
7. Senor Frogs
Senor Frogs is a pretty well-known chain of bars all throughout the Caribbean. Even though it’s a pretty touristy place, it’s worth the visit if it’s your first time in Nassau.
The place itself is pretty quirky, which means it’s great for the family for or for a trip to the bar with a few friends. The Nassau location is right on the water, so expect to take lots of great pictures with the ocean and your drinks in the background.
