There is simply no better view for tapas and sangria than Mirador de Morayma. Hidden away in Granada’s famous Albaicin barrio, this quant bar offers exceptional views of Alhambra! They are known more for their atmosphere than their tapas. However, their croquettes are out of this world and typically available on request!
3. Restorante Chikito
Restorante Chikito prides itself on hefty portions, great sangria and the fact that it was a favourite of local poet Federico Garcia Lorca. It is perfect for summer afternoons on the terrace with unlimited free tapas and tinto de verano!
4. Bodegas Castañeda
This classic tapas bar is a Grenadian staple. Stocked with all the Spanish essentials like Iberian ham, Â too many cheeses to count, tones of tuna, tortilla de patata in every form, and local wines. Be prepared to wait as they are usually bustling with patrons ready to drink and eat the night away.
5. La Pajuana
La Pajuana has one of the widest varieties of tapas on this list along with a friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Despite the fact that they are consistently packed like many others on this list, you’ll always feel welcomed!
6. Taberna La Tana
Nestled in Granada’s Realejo neighbourhood, Taberna La Tana hosts a perfect mix of foreigners and locals alike. If we could offer one piece of advice, it would be to get there early! Past 8:30 pm, you’ll find La Tana packed from wall to wall, which is always a good sign to go inside!
7. Casa Julio
After eating your weight in cured Iberian ham, Casa Julio is a perfect stop for seafood. There’s very little they can’t or won’t do with fried fish and prawns! To start, we recommend ordering a few cañas  (small house beer) and sampling a new tapa with each one!
