2. High Level Bridge

This historical road and railway bridge is a scenic way to get from Gateshead to Newcastle, with dramatic arches on the footbridge and views of the River Tyne.

3. Ouseburn

This is where you’ll find the North East’s largest legal graffiti wall on Dinsdale Place, which has some incredible murals by graffiti artists from across the country brightening up many a rainy day.

5. Angel of the North

6. Alnwick Castle

Harry Potter fan? This 1000-year-old medieval castle is where scenes from Hogwarts School in Harry Potter were filmed.  The courtyards and baileys of Alnwick Castle were used to film Hogwarts students and staff going about their daily activities
