The 7 Most Instagrammable Spots In Suriname

Suriname is a small country on the northeastern coast of South America, known for its tropical rainforest, Dutch colonial architecture and a melting-pot culture.

Even though it’s the smallest country in South America, there’s so much to see and do here. It’s a lively country with a bustling capital city, Paramaribo, and dense jungle where indigenous tribes still live.

To make sure you have some great photos to share for a Suriname Instagram snap, these are our top picks of the most Instagrammable places in the country.

Paramaribo is a former Dutch colonial town from the 17th and 18th centuries with picturesque wooden buildings on the main streets.
