1. Dingle Peninsula

It’s hard to believe that some of these roads are real and you’ll likely meet as many sheep blocking your way as you will cars. ‘Tight bends’ doesn’t even begin to explain it.

2. Killarney National Park

A stunning place to be at one with nature and enjoy a mixture of parklands, lakes and mountains. The scenery changes beautifully with the seasons so no two photographs will ever be the same.

3. Muckross House

This gorgeous 9th-century mansion has been lovingly restored and is set among mountains and woodland and has shops, restaurants and a working farm. Hire bikes to explore, or even better, see it on horseback.

4. Carrauntoohil

This is probably the most iconic climb in Ireland where you are rewarded with majestic views at the top. It’s notoriously tough, but there are hikes for people of all levels to experience this national treasure.

5. Coumeenoole Beach

6. Conor Pass

Conor Pass is one of the prettiest drives in the country. You’ll meet buses, sheep, camper vans and locals all vying for space on the impossibly tight roads. Hit the vantage point at the top for one of the best Kerry photo spots.

Killarney is the hub of Kerry for many people starting a trip in the county. A great selection of live music venues and that famous Irish hospitality. Bar hop around a few places enjoying the music and atmosphere and you’ll be sure to find that memorable Irish Instagram shot.
