This retro restaurant and bar is as relaxed as dives can come. They make incredible classic cocktails, and the oysters are well-prepared–and help fulfil the nautical theme. Unwind at happy hour in this low-key bar.

This bar declares itself the “beer joint of your dreams,” and it does a pretty good job of living up to that. There’s weekly trivia, open mic night and karaoke, and good bar food for munching. The beer selection is fairly solid, and it’s always cold giving you everything you want.

This neighbourhood watering hole is a local favourite for regulars. There’s shuffleboard and a jukebox loaded with tons of great music. The drinks are strong and the beer is cold, so pull up a chair.

This is one of the more polished dives, and they have a great selection of bar food. The exposed-brick space is laid-back and the staff is friendly. With $4 Bloody Marys, you might want to consider it for your hair of the dog the day after a wild night out.

This low-key, no-frills dive serves up icy brews and great bar food. Locals love to gather here to catch games, and the crowd is always friendly.
