2. Shop in Little Five Points

3. Dine in Virginia-Highlands

4. Explore Fernbank
Located near Druid Hills, the Fernbank Museum of Natural History is a beautiful facility with both permanent and temporary exhibits. There’s also a 3D movie theatre that shows several educational or documentary films per day and a beautiful forested park just behind the museum too. Stop by for a showing and a walk.
5. Walk the Beltline
The Beltline continues to expand, but it current stretches through both East and West Atlanta and crosses by Piedmont Park and notable markets. Walk or ride a bike from the park to Krog Street Market. Along the way you’ll find expressive public art and will be rewarded with tasty treats and drinks at the food hall.
6. Eat at Krog Street Market
Speaking of Krog Street, whether you make it there from the Beltline or simply drive there, it’s a stop worth making. In addition to the food hall stalls, there are also well-designed restaurants and a few boutique shops. Take a peek inside the home and garden store that stands on the same property but independent from the hall.
7. Shop the DeKalb Farmer’s Market
This is an international hub that showcases the best of Atlanta’s multi-cultural community. The massive warehouse sells everything from specialty cheeses to cookies and spices from around the world. Breads and pastries are made fresh daily and pair wonderfully with the coffee being ground at the front next to the florist stall. Stop by the café for internationally-inspired dishes made with the freshest ingredients.
