1. Acropolis

Plaka is by far Athens most touristy neighbourhood but there’s plenty to explore here. It’s Athens’ oldest neighbourhood, and has a charm about it that makes it ideal to take a stroll through. There are great restaurants, boutique shops, souvenir shops, and a few bars to stop at along the way.
Come and explore the Plaka neighbourhood after dinner and look up and see the Acropolis lit up in the Athens night sky. It’s a beauty.

4. The Temple Of Poseidon at Sounion
The Temple of Poseidon at Sounion is a monument on a hill overlooking the Aegean Sea at the southern part of Athens. This place is perfect for mid-afternoon dip in the sea, followed by a quick bite at any of the neighbouring cafes.
Bring a Mythos or two (Greek beer) and come take in the stunning and gorgeous sunset views on the hill at the Temple of Poseidon. Hey, it’s what the Ancient Greeks would have wanted!

6. Mount Lycabettus
Mount Lycabettus is one of the highest points in Athens and the views from here are outstanding. On this hill, there is amphitheatre where you can check out live music shows and plays.
Take the train up to Mount Lycabettus and then enjoy a leisure stroll down the mountain as you slowly come back to Athens.
7. Monastiraki Flea Market
The Monastiraki Flea Market is the best place in Athens to find the best deals for your souvenir needs. Aside from shopping, the atmosphere here is very lively with a few musicians happily playing music on the street.
Fair warning though: it can get very crowded here due to the great deals but if you can manage that, come here for the great vibes and shop away!
