4. The Other Place

The Other Place is a small, pink bistro & bar inside the oldest wet market in District 1, right at the heart of Saigon. Not only will you feel the feel-good vibes as soon as you walk in, the food itself here is amazing.

They take Asian influences and add and Aussie twist for some creative bites. Think: wet truffle egg or a new take on Bắp xào (fried corn) with bacon, curry sauce, lime, pepper and rice crackers.

5. L’Herbanyste

L’Herbanyste is a veggie’s dream come true. It combines a healthy and sustainable lifestyle store, holistic treatment room and a beautiful cafe serving up colourful, plant-based food. It’s set in a charming villa with a swimming pool, so you can have a dip after your feast.

Your morning will be made with dishes such as toast layered with beetroot hummus, fresh spinach, and sliced avocado, garnished with toasted pumpkin seeds and dukkah.

6. L’Usine

L’Usine is a super popular space: it’s home to some of Vietnam’s best lifestyle brands and some of the best brunch in Ho Chi Minh. It could be the fact that they serve breakfast all day (yes!).
