1. Barclay Prime

Barclay Prime provides a sleek and sexy space for world-class cuisine. Taking cues from a European library, with comfortable banquettes, marble surfaces and crystal chandeliers, the dining room is a chic but comfortable setting perfect for any experience.

2. Butcher & Singer

Step back into the bygone era of Hollywood with the perfectly charred steaks and old-world charm at Butcher & Singer. The decor is an homage to the 1940s, with a menu of  iconic entrees like the Twin Lobster Tails and Shrimp & Crab Louie, and classic cocktails like martinis and manhattans.

But let’s get on to those steaks: there’s Tomahawk rib eyes, filet mignon and more, with the option to add on an Oscar (jumbo lump crab with asparagus and bearnaise).

3. Urban Farmer

Butcher’s cuts of heritage-bred beef takes the spotlight on the menu of this superb farm-to-fork steakhouse. There’s some great cuts on the menu, including the option of a New York ‘steak tasting’: 6oz pieces of grass fed steak, dry aged and other distinct flavours.

With a charming atmosphere and add ons such as South African lobster tail or candied bacon and bacon jam, it’s easy to see why it’s one of the top spots for steak in Philadelphia.

4. Saloon Restaurant

For more than 50 years, this elegant Italian-American restaurant has been serving up incredible food and drinks in Philly. It’s classy, with a consistency to the steak and other dishes that never fails. Try the 12-oz New York sirloin in a Marsala porcini mushroom sauce with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes.

An absolute joy of a dining experience.

The best bit? You’ll dine to the sounds of live jazz every evening, with musicians playing at the Baby Grand piano.

6. Malbec Argentine Steakhouse

The Argentinians are known for cooking great steak all over the world and this is the spot to have it in Philadelphia. The room is relaxed and informal, with the steak itself very much the star of the show.
