Colorado Springs, a city in Colorado at the eastern foot of the Rocky Mountains, is famous for the Garden of the Gods, a massive National Natural Landmark. It is also known for its unique blend of opulence and rugged Colorado charm, as well as Pikes Peak, the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. This is one of the most famous mountains in the country and is called America’s Mountian.
Colorado Springs is located roughly 71 miles south of Denver, the most populous city in the state of Colorado. Denver is an outdoorsy city known for its art, culture, food, music and sports. Its nickname “The Mile High City” references its elevation. Denver sits exactly 5,280 feet (1.6km) or one mile above sea level. Today, more than 31 million people visit Denver every year and almost 24 million visit Colorado Springs. Visitors often make the journey between both cities. So, if you’d like to do the same, there are four ways to get from Colorado Springs to Denver.
