3. Schenley Park
Created in 1889, the park now contains 456 acres of trails, woods, and attractions. A daily destination for university students, business-people, and outdoor enthusiasts. The perfect place to come and unwind within the city with some stunning photo locations around the park.

4. Cathedral of Learning
This is the signature building for the University of Pittsburgh’s main campus. The building is 163m (540 feet) tall and is as stunning on the inside as it is on the outside. Fun fact: it is officially the second tallest gothic style building in the world.

5. National Aviary
The National Aviary is America’s only independent indoor nonprofit zoo dedicated exclusively to birds. This is the perfect place for a family day out with lots to learn, photograph and interact with.

6. Cocktails at Butcher and the Rye
This place is super Instagrammable. Oil lanterns take the place of candles on some tables. There’s a chandelier of white antlers that hangs over one of the dining rooms. Tattoo-inspired murals cover the tables and the cocktails themselves are beautiful.
7. Phipps Conservatory
A green oasis in the middle of Pittsburgh’s vibrant Oakland neighbourhood, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens has provided a world-class garden experience to its visitors since 1893. A wonderful place to relax and in the good weather get a stunning Pittsburgh Instagram shot.
