2. Temple Square

This is a hugely photogenic space which is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has lots to explore. It’s also one of the most striking buildings in America.

Utah State Library is one of the most impressive libraries in the entire country, both for their collection of books and for the sheer style and beauty of the building.

4. Great Salt Lake

You simply couldn’t come all this way and not visit the lake that the city is named after. Ideal for reflective shots at sunset.

5. Blue Copper Coffee

As well as serving seriously good coffee and treats, the funky mural they have outside makes the perfect Instagrammable spot.

The Roof is a superb restaurant with as good a view as you’re ever likely to see. Make sure to reserve well in advance for one of the window seats, as that makes the experience.

Bonneville Shoreline Trail is the perfect place to escape the city to bike, run, walk or take your pets with you. The views – especially in spring when the flowers bloom – are stunning.
