This park covers over 70 hectares and its construction began in 1718 on the orders of Russian Tsar Peter I.

4. Tallinn TV tower

It’ll take you 20 minutes to get here from the city centre and as long as you’re not scared of heights you’ll love it here.

5. Kohtuotsa Viewing Platform

If you don’t fancy the 170m climb up the TV tower then this is something much more manageable. It’s a seriously great photo opportunity, looking out over the red roofs of Tallinn.
